Start here before beginning the course. You’ll get oriented to Contribution, reflect on how you currently give back, and establish a starting point for the course. Download your workbook here and keep it with you as you move through each module.
Explore what Contribution means in AMG and why giving back is about more than volunteering, donating money, or doing more. You’ll begin identifying how your time, presence, skills, resources, relationships, and experience can strengthen the people and communities around you.
Giving becomes unhealthy when service turns into self-neglect, resentment, rescuing, or a need to be needed. Learn how to contribute generously while maintaining boundaries, agency, responsibility, and care for your own life.
You do not have to help everywhere. Explore where your story, values, strengths, opportunities, and the needs around you intersect so you can identify the forms of Contribution that make sense for this season of your life.
Learn to give your time, money, attention, skills, and energy intentionally rather than from guilt, pressure, or hidden expectations. Healthy generosity includes the freedom to give, ask directly for what you need, set limits, and sometimes say no.
Explore how your experience can become useful to someone coming behind you. Learn a healthier approach to mentorship built around listening, curiosity, encouragement, appropriate challenge, modeling, boundaries, and helping another person develop his own agency.
Contribution does not always require adding something new to your life. Explore how you can give back through the roles you already occupy, including fatherhood and family, work and leadership, friendship and relationships, and participation in your community.
Legacy is more than what you accomplish or leave behind. Consider what your life is teaching, modeling, building, and passing forward through your relationships, character, stories, work, family, mentorship, and influence.
Turn good intentions into sustainable practice. Choose a Contribution Lane, define one meaningful goal, establish a realistic rhythm, protect necessary boundaries, build accountability, and create a 90-day experiment you can actually follow.
Reflect on what you have learned about Contribution and how your understanding of giving back has changed. Revisit your starting assessment, identify what you want to carry forward, and begin practicing Contribution as an ongoing part of a meaningful life.
